Contact forms

This site has a number of ‘contact us’ forms which allows you and anyone else to contact us via email. In order to reply to you we collect your name and email address, and any other detail you wish to add in the message box. Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

 Cookies

The cookies on this website are used to remember the website layout, menu type and theme, which is used to speed up the website, but does not track your progress through the website. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

Who we share your data with

Your personal data will be treated as strictly confidential and will be shared only with appropriate people within the church for the legitimate activities and services of Trinity Baptist Church.

How long we retain your data

If you use the ‘contact us’ form, we will retain your personal data (name, email address and personal message) on the receiving computer for up to 6 months, at which point all personal data will be deleted.

What rights you have over your data

You can request to receive a file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

How we protect your data and prevent data breaches

Data between your browser and our server is encrypted with a certified security certificate, this prevents any interception of your data between your computer and the server. In addition to this, backups are regularly carried out and stored on a computer with fully antivirus and antimalware protection; the backup data is compressed and encrypted.

 What do I do if I have a privacy complaint

If you believe there has been a breach of the privacy of your personal information we ask that you contact us. We endeavour to resolve all complaints promptly and fairly. Please include your email address, name, address and telephone number and clearly detail your complaint. We may need to share your information with others who can assist in responding to your complaint. We will respond to your complaint as soon as reasonably practicable and in any event within 5 business days. Our response will inform you whether we have accepted your complaint, request further information, or advise that we do not think we are in breach. We will also let you know the next steps in resolving your complaint. If you are not satisfied with our response to your complaint, or at any time, you may refer your complaint to the relevant government authority.
